Tyrian 2000

Set in a faraway star sector, Tyrian is a fairly generic sci-fi-themed shooter on the surface. You'll pilot your ship through a wide variety of vertically-scrolling, parallax-rendered environments. The Game Boy Color version of Tyrian 2000 would have been the first time Tyrian ventured off of home PCs. However, it ultimately was cancelled in favor of the Game Boy Advance version... which met the same fate later on.
